Bookings

The 2nd Guernsey Scout Group premises, with its rural setting, spacious rooms, well laid out kitchen and ample parking, are ideal for use for birthday parties, camps, etc. Internally we offer the use of our fully equipped stainless steel professional kitchen with 6 gas burner cooker, electric cooker, hot water drinking system and fridge/freezer. The Wayfarer Hall (44ft x 32ft) and Dining Room (20ft x 16ft) come equipped with tables and chairs and we offer toilet and shower facilities as well as a fully accessible disabled toilet and wet room type shower. Externally we boast ample parking, a beautiful campsite surrounded by natural shrubs, an upper ground camp area and campfire circle at the rear of the premises. We are located within walking distance of the bus stops, beaches, garage and convenience store, whilst set back off the main road offering peace and tranquillity.

Camps may be booked in advance subject to payment of a non-refundable deposit of 30%. Other bookings are taken no more than 3 months in advance, subject to availability, with payment in full and completion of a hire agreement at the date of booking.

We regret that we are unable to offer our facilities for wedding, stag or hen events. All bookings are subject to the approval of our bookings clerk and in some circumstances, our Executive Committee.

We respectfully ask that camps at which young people and children are present are alcohol-free. This is due to the nature of our organisation and we hope that you understand our position on this.
